In December 2007, I was a co-founder of West End office agency BDG Sparkes Porter which grew to a team of 10 agents. The journey started in an attic room on Percy Street and ended 12 years later on Savile Row in an office with a lift, LED lights and even air-conditioning!
I was fortunate to meet the original Deliveroo team at start-up phase when they were just 4 people with some push bikes and worked with them as they evolved into the company they are today by assisting them to secure their 55,000 sq ft HQ in Cannon St. However, my career highlight has to be winning the Pollen Estate mandate in 2008.

I studied Japanese at University and then spent 2 years living in a rural Japanese rice-farming village, working as an Assistant Language Teacher in the local High School. The main reason I went was to meet Japanese people, learn the language and immerse myself in the culture – although on the plane from London to Tokyo in July 1998, I met my wife and we have been together ever since. She is not Japanese!
