As a brand strategist, I have enjoyed developing strategies and campaigns for some fascinating companies: The Times and Hyundai, broadcasters from the BBC to TV New Zealand and start-ups in the Fin-tech and Prop-tech sectors. Across these diverse clients I always look to really understand their unique offerings, audiences and competitive context to establish a strategic vision the audience will respond to – at a level and scale which will deliver meaningful results. It is always satisfying to develop a clear and distinctive brand and marketing strategy that helps the internal team as well as end user understand what a brand is trying to be and to do.
Helping to launch Hedge of course! Also, in my role as the CEO of The Association of British Climbing Walls I am currently working on a plan to maximise the impact of climbing appearing for the first time in the Tokyo Olympics. I am passionate about making everyone feel welcome in climbing (and indeed property) and am working with climbing walls across the UK to use the Olympics to bring a new and diverse audience into the sport.
I love running and climbing, ideally with my kids – and dog, Monty. He’s not quite so keen on the climbing though! In fact the kids aren’t always so keen on the running, but I bribe them with cake.
